Americans have no perspective on the rest of the world, culture, war, from the past to the present day. For generations they have never suffered real calamity from outside. There’s hardly an American left living who’s been in a war not of America’s own doing. They were so shocked by 9/11 that they wrongly and unjustly spent $2 trillion killing innocent people over it. Let me explain with a few stats you might find shocking.
Since 9/11 more than 600,000 Americans have been shot to death in America, shot by other Americans or themselves (often both). About 1.2 million non-fatal shootings (and many no doubt not reported). Nobody talks about the wounded and medical costs which must reach into the $billions.
America has not fought a war on its soil since 1812, a war America declared attempting to invade Canada. In 1846 the USA invaded Mexico at a huge loss of life and treasure. In 1861 Americans declared war on each other in the Civil War and more Americans died than all wars past and future combined. Sherman’s March thru the South was as destructive and terrorist as anything Jihad ever did.
America has never been bombed and burned, had its men executed, its women raped, its children kidnapped and its people enslaved. Except of course they slaughtered and enslaved millions of their fellow American; Native, Africans and non-whites.
Here’s a few stats from WW2, the one war we actually won, by dropping “the big one”on Japan. Note civilian deaths. USA being way by far the biggest population.

This is not to denigrate anyone. Its just to show that American civilians are in the line of fire. Its geography.
Americans do not fathom the oriental mind. WW2 is not over for China Japan and others. Wars go on thru generations and involve ancestral family honor and that sort of thing. They don’t kiss and make up.
Same thing goes for their misunderstanding of Islam. America fights with the Arabs and Iranians about money, terrorism, oil, WMDs, tyranny and democracy. They’re fighting a Sunni/Shiite holy war; which is what Jihad means in Arabic.
Generally speaking Americans have an unhealthy ignorant perspective. They really don’t grasp what the rest of the world is like. They have no idea how bad off they are, how exploited, over-taxed, under-benefited, over-worked and under-paid. A tiny minority are really gifted, very rich and prosperous. They know whats going on and they are the ones milking it.
Americans are also a most generous people who do wonderful things around the world where nobody else does. But they do it for the tax deduction. Ugh!
