This is Leroy Sharrock. He is a Didgeridoo player. One night in a bar we were discussing the serious matter of genocide particularly of the Indigenous Australians known as the Aborigines. Leroy attempted to explain to me the mystical magic of the Didgeridoo a musical instrument unique to those people. Not sure I caught on.
A few night later I was inspired to write this song which was meant to encompass all the genocide races and peoples in human history. I played it for Leroy who immediately joined in with the Didg.
We determined to do a video but alas only this rehearsal ever happened which was fortunately saved. My microphone refused to stay elevated and there were maybe 10 people in the place. But Leroy was fantastic and that’s the important thing in the song. I can’t really play it without him. Here’s the word’s.
